TO ALL CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE
STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF:
Saint Louis Universitys Department of Public
Safety is dedicated to creating a campus environment that is safe
and secure. Using its community-based policing philosophy,
the department is proud of its core values: COMMUNITY,
INTEGRITY, SERVICE and FAIRNESS. As these
values indicate, the department is sensitive to the needs and
expectations of the entire University community. The Department
of Public Safety actively seeks the assistance of all University
students, faculty and staff to participate on various advisory
committees on our local campus. These committees work with DPS
to address security and safety issues. This proactive approach
has empowered our students, faculty and staff and has resulted
in an informed, safety-conscious University community.
It is in your best interest to familiarize yourself with campus
